Leno Basso

Program Manager / Lead Engineer at Key Safety Systems

Leno Basso has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and management. Leno started their career as an Engineering Coop at Superior Cam, Inc., where they improved building processes and methods of communication for production. Leno then worked as a Manufacturing Engineer at Newcor Technologies, where they generated monthly budgets and managed engineering documentation. Leno then joined Key Safety Systems as a Sr. Product Engineer, responsible for various airbag programs. Leno later became an Engineering Manager at Key Safety Systems, where they managed a team of product engineers and improved engineering processes. Following this, Leno worked as a Program Manager / Lead Engineer at Key Safety Systems, overseeing multiple customer programs. Their most recent role is as a Manager Program Management at Jabil, where they are currently employed.

Leno Basso attended Kettering University from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Plastics & Polymers. In 1997 to 1999, they also took Electrical Engineering Electives at UNSW. Later, in 2005 to 2006, they pursued an MBA in Business at the University of Phoenix. Additionally, Leno Basso holds a Project Management Certification from the Project Management Institute, obtained in 2014, and a Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst certification from Microsoft, obtained in October 2023.
