George L. Kinnard, Jr has extensive experience in social services, particularly for low-income older adults and individuals with developmental disabilities. Since March 2004, George has served as a Resident Service Coordinator at Key Management Company, where assistance is provided to elderly residents in accessing programs for healthy and independent living. Prior roles include Coordinator for Senior Health Insurance Counseling at Douglas County Senior Services, Independent Living Teaching Counselor at Community Living Opportunities, and Independent Direct Support Worker under the Kansas Medicaid's Home & Community Based Services Waiver. With foundational experience in warehouse and retail environments, George has also held leadership roles, including Trustee for the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. George earned a double-major Bachelor of General Studies in Human Development & Family Life and Psychology from the University of Kansas, along with additional degrees from the University of Saint Mary and Johnson County Community College.
