Roddy Nikpour is an accomplished professional in the fields of journalism and mass communication, currently serving as an Assistant Teaching Professor at Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication since August 2016. In this role, Roddy supervises graders and co-instructors, instructs hundreds of undergraduates in online courses focused on podcasting and entry-level coding, and oversees project-based course development in Canvas. Additionally, Roddy works as a Producer for KEXP, producing and mixing music and voiceovers for public affairs programming, and has held various positions in other media organizations, including KUER 90.1 and Maine Public. Educationally, Roddy holds a Master’s Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication and a BA in Philosophy, Classical Studies, and Symbolic Systems from Arizona State University.
