David Gibson is an experienced broadcast professional with a focus on sports and lifestyle media. Currently serving as a Lifestyle Host and Weekend Sports Anchor/Reporter at KETK since August 2021, David previously worked at Nexstar Media Group, Inc. as a Sports Reporter from September 2019 to July 2021. Earlier roles include being a General Assignment Reporter for KAVU/KVCT, where responsibilities included covering breaking news and live reporting. David held leadership positions with NABJ, serving as Vice President and Social Media Chair, and gained valuable experience as an intern at Fox 26 Kriv. A graduate of Sam Houston State University and a member of several honor societies, David also worked as a staff reporter for the Houstonian student newspaper, contributing to sports coverage. David's career began earlier in customer service roles at Chick-fil-A.
