Neil Lajkiewicz has extensive work experience in the field of chemistry and pharmaceutical research. Neil began their career as a Research Assistant at Lundbeck Research USA, Inc. in 2005. Neil then worked as an Associate Scientist at Sirtris Pharmaceuticals, a GSK company, from 2007 to 2008. After that, they served as an Assistant Scientist at Sirtris Pharmaceuticals in 2008. Following this, they joined Sirtris, a GSK Company, as an Associate Scientist from 2008 to 2009. In 2009, Neil pursued a doctoral degree at Boston University, where they studied until 2014. Neil then joined Incyte, where they held various positions including Research Investigator, Senior Research Investigator, and Principal Investigator in Chemistry from 2014 to 2019. In 2020, they worked as a Technology Specialist at Clark+Elbing LLP. Neil then joined Arrakis Therapeutics in 2021 as a Senior Scientist in Chemistry, a role they held until 2023. Currently, Neil is working at Kestrel Therapeutics as a Principal Scientist.

Neil Lajkiewicz earned a B.A. in Biochemistry from Boston University in 2005. Neil later completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Organic Chemistry at the same institution from 2009 to 2014.
