Ruben Gamboa is a seasoned professional in computer science with extensive academic and industry experience. Currently serving as a consultant at Kestrel Institute since October 2021 and as a professor at the University of Wyoming since January 2002, Gamboa has held various leadership roles, including Head of the Department of Computer Science. With a consulting background at CareRight Technologies, Gamboa specializes in system architecture, particularly in distributed construction and deployment. Previous positions include contributions to Morningstar, Logical Information Machines, and Neopost Loop One, where Gamboa was a Senior System Architect and Vice President of Engineering, among other roles. Gamboa holds multiple degrees in computer science from esteemed institutions, including a Ph.D. from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Science in Astronomy from Swinburne University of Technology.
