Anu Hamalainen has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Anu is currently a Board Member at Valmet since April 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of Group Finance and Treasury at Kesko - K-Group starting in November 2020. Anu also has experience as a Member of the Board of Directors at Finnfund, Neles, Outotec Oyj, Fingrid Oyj, Glaston Oyj Abp, and as a Senior Vice President of Financial Administration at SRV Group Ltd. Anu held leadership positions at Wärtsilä, including Vice President of Group Treasury and Financial Services, Vice President of Group Control, and Director, from 2008 to 2020. Anu started their career as an Administrative Director at Quorum Oy in 2005.

Anu Hamalainen attained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Vaasa, having studied from 1986 to 1991.
