Anna-Maija Lyytinen has had a distinguished career in the media and sales sectors, starting as a sales and advertising specialist at Savon Sanomat from May 1985 to December 2009, where significant roles included levikkijohtaja, myyntipäällikkö, and ilmoituspalvelut. Following this, Anna-Maija served as markkinointikoordinaattori at Savon Media Oy from January 2011 to December 2013. Anna-Maija then took on the role of Director of Consumer Sales at Keskisuomalainen Oyj from January 2014 until retirement, and concurrently held a position as Board Member at Myyntimestarit Oy from May 2021 to March 2024.
