Victoria Poissant has a solid work experience in intellectual property management. Victoria started their career at Walt Disney Imagineering as a Mechanical Engineer from January 1990 to August 1997. Victoria then joined Boston Scientific as a Sr. Patent Agent from March 2000 to March 2015, where they managed a patent portfolio and facilitated innovation processes. In 2017, they worked as an Intellectual Property Supervisor at Karl Storz Imaging for 9 months. Currently, they are the Director of Intellectual Property at Kernel since August 2017, where they have successfully grown the company's patent portfolio and implemented a docketing system for IP management and budgeting.
Victoria Poissant earned their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Loyola Marymount University, where they studied between 1983 and 1988. After a significant gap, they pursued their passion for law and attended the University of West Los Angeles School of Law from 2008 to 2011, earning a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree. Their field of study during their undergraduate years was Mechanical Engineering, while their focus shifted to Law during their time at the University of West Los Angeles School of Law.
