Jose Zuniga is an experienced nursing professional with a strong background in critical care and case management. Currently serving as a UR and ICU RN and Clinical Director of Case Management at Kern Medical since December 2017, Jose has also held various leadership roles at Managed Care Systems, LP, overseeing inpatient case management functions. Prior experience includes traveling nurse positions and critical care nursing at Good Samaritan Hospital and Dignity Health. Jose earned a Master's degree in Nursing Science from the University of Arizona and has pursued further academic advancement with a postgraduate degree at Maryville University of Saint Louis. Additionally, Jose holds a certificate in Case Management and a Basic Certificate in Quality and Safety from the Institute for Healthcare Improvement.
