Petra Wessels possesses extensive experience in communications and public affairs, currently serving as the Director of Communications and Public Affairs for the Benelux and Scandinavia regions at Keolis Group since May 2016. Prior to this role, Petra co-founded the Dutch product museum TYPE and worked as a marketing communication advisor from August 2015 to December 2021. Petra has also held interim positions, including Senior Communication Advisor for TenneT and Communications Manager for AkzoNobel, where focus was on strategic communication for major projects and programs. Previous roles include project and communication manager at Syntus B.V. and coordination of communication for large infrastructure projects at TenneT. Academic credentials include a Master of Arts degree from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Haagse Hogeschool.
