Ben qualified as a solicitor in 2017 and has recently joined Keoghs from another large defendant insurance firm where he spent almost five years handling personal injury claims. He is regularly instructed to defend claims arising out of accidents on the road, at work or in public places that involve life changing orthopaedic injuries, fatalities, chronic pain, brain injuries and amputations. He has experience in a wide range of liability disputes involving pedestrians, cyclists and multiple vehicles, having been involved in cases that have gone to trial in both the County Court and the High Court as well as going to the Court of Appeal.
Ben deals with all aspects of quantum but has a particular interest in claims involving amputations, specifically where osseointegration is involved, and is a member of the International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics. Ben is also able to advise on policy and indemnity issues where necessary. He prides himself on his technical knowledge and attention to detail while not losing sight of the big picture and commercial considerations.
