Wairimu Mwaniki, MD, currently serves as the Convener of the Kenya Medical Association Policy Advocacy and Communications Committee and works as a Medical Specialist Physician for the Ministry of Defence Kenya. In addition, Wairimu Mwaniki is a Cosmetics Technical Committee Member at the Kenya Bureau of Standards and has held the position of Co-convener of the Public Health Committee at the Kenya Medical Association from June 2022 to March 2024. Wairimu Mwaniki has a Master's degree in Medicine (M.Med.) with a specialization in Internal Medicine from Moi University and a Bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery (MbChB) from Kenyatta University. Ongoing educational pursuits include a degree in Effective Healthcare Management from the University of Toronto, a certificate in Rheumatology from the EULAR School of Rheumatology, as well as certificates in Business Administration and Management and Artificial Intelligence from the European Business Institute of Luxembourg.
