Tim Olson has worked in the finance and trading industries since 1999. Tim began their career as a Developer and Team Leader at Yes Trader, Inc. from 1999 to 2001. Tim then moved on to Lake Shore Trading, LLC, where they were a Trader from 2001 to 2009. In 2009, they joined Atlantic Trading USA, LLC as a Trader and Co-Head of the Cash Bond Desk. From 2013 to 2014, they were a Trader and Research Analyst at Prescient Ridge Management LLC. In 2017, Tim joined the Business Advisory Council at UIC Liautaud Graduate School of Business. Since 2014, they have also been a Management Consultant and Managing Director of Finance at Kenway Consulting.

Tim Olson attended Fenwick High School from 1988 to 1992. Tim then went on to the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they studied Engineering from 1992 to 1996.
