Thomas Kriston has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2013 when they co-founded the Children Pioneers Practicing Programming Organization (C3PO). In the same year, they also became a Google Trailblazer Ambassador. In 2016, they were a Microsoft Student Partner. From 2017 to 2018, they were a Software Engineering Intern at Qualcomm. In 2020, they were a Management Consultant and Intern at Kenway Consulting.

Thomas Kriston completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Innovation, Leadership, and Engineering Entrepreneurship (ILEE) from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2020. Thomas also attended Dougherty Valley High School from 2011 to 2015. In addition, they obtained a Remote Work Foundations certification from LinkedIn in September 2020.
