Vance Duncan III, MIFireE, currently serves as the Deputy Chief of the Training Division for the City of Erie Bureau of Fire, where responsibilities include supervising fire and EMS instructors and auditing education programs. With extensive experience in emergency services, Vance has held various roles including Lieutenant and Emergency Medical Service Coordinator, as well as Firefighter/EMT-P, contributing to fire suppression, emergency medical care, and training programs. Vance is also affiliated with the Kentucky Speedway and Lake Erie Speedway Fire and Safety Teams, providing support during racing events, and has volunteered with the Erie County Hazardous Materials Response Team since 1990. Previous experience includes serving as a resident director at Gannon University and working as an EMT-Paramedic. Vance holds a B.S. in Business Administration, an MPA in Public Administration, and a certificate as an EMT-Paramedic.
