Julio Cesar Defillo Draiby is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in geriatrics. Currently serving as a Geriatric Consultant and the Clinical Director of Geriatric Programs at Kent Hospital since December 2018, Julio also holds the position of Assistant Professor of Medicine at Brown University since July 2012. Prior roles include Lead Geriatrician for both the Ortho-Geriatrics Co-Management Program and Older Adults Care at The Miriam Hospital, as well as a significant academic tenure at Brown Medicine from July 2012 to December 2018. Julio's educational background includes a Geriatric Medicine Clinician Educator degree from Yale University, an MBA in Health Care Administration from Western Governors University, and a Doctor of Medicine from Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo, along with other notable qualifications in medicine and education.
