Albert Monrroy is an experienced photojournalist currently working at KENS 5 since October 2022 and previously at KRGV-TV from November 2019 to October 2022. With a strong background in creating impactful visual stories under pressure, Monrroy possesses expertise in using Panasonic P5000 cameras and DeJero/LiveU systems for timely news coverage. Other roles include serving as a freelance writer for Texas Southmost College and as Station Manager and Photographer for UTRGV Student Media, where Monrroy managed production teams and developed visual content. Additionally, Monrroy worked as a Communications Specialist at Workforce Solutions Cameron, producing various marketing materials. Holding a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, Monrroy has a comprehensive skill set in audio-visual communication and media production.
