Laura Poolman is an experienced attorney specializing in Privacy and Data Protection law, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and contract liability. Currently, Poolman serves as an attorney at Kennedy Van der Laan since May 2018, having previously been seconded to FedEx from September 2019 to July 2021. Poolman also worked at De Koning Vergouwen Advocaten from January 2015 to May 2018, advising and litigating in IT law and procurement law. Early career experience includes roles as a legal counsel at LTP Business Psychologists and as a paralegal at various law firms. Poolman holds a Master's degree in Private Law from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and completed the Legal Profession Training at Leiden University, qualifying to practice law in the Netherlands.
