James Nokes is a director at the University of Warwick, where James holds the position of Director of NIHR Global Health Research Group GeMVi and Wellcome Trust Senior Investigator. James is also a Professor of Infectious Disease Epidemiology. Additionally, James works at KEMRI - Wellcome Trust as the Director of NIHR Global Health Research Group GeMVi, focusing on the application of genomics and modeling to the control of virus pathogens in East Africa. With a background in studying the population dynamics of microparasites, James has also held positions at University of Oxford and Imperial College London. Nokes holds a PhD in Parasite Epidemiology and a BSc in Zoology from Imperial College London.
