Steve Goris joined KemperSports in October 2022 as the senior vice president of KemperSports Venues. In this role, he oversees the strategy, growth and operations for this business unit dedicated to serving and supporting expanding portfolio of youth sports and recreation facilities.
A proven leader and savvy industry veteran, Steve most recently served as senior vice president of Vieste, LLC, leading the development of several sports and entertainment projects, including the Memphis Sports and Events Center. Prior to that, he served as vice president of planning and development for Sports Facility Management (SFM) after co-founding and working as chief operating officer of Spooky Nook Sports (Lancaster, Pa.), the largest indoor sports complex in North America.
Steve earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration – Finance/Accounting from the University of Toledo where he also played on the men’s volleyball team. Steve has since coached volleyball teams at the club, high school and collegiate levels. He now spends most of his free time with his wife, Michelle, watching their 10-year-old son, Tyler, and 7-year-old daughter, Corrine, play the sports they love.
