Michael Clark

Vice President, R&d And Technology, Americas at Kemira

Michael Clark has extensive work experience in the chemical industry. Michael started their career at Chemtura in 1998, where they worked as a Senior Scientist until 2007. Michael then joined Kemira in 2007, initially serving as a Research Scientist before being promoted to Manager of Wet End and Paper Surface Chemistry. In 2012, they transitioned to the role of R&D Manager, focusing on Global Defoamers and Microbiology. From 2013 onwards, Michael served as the Senior R&D Manager, overseeing Analytics and Chemistry Cluster. In 2018, they were promoted to the role of Vice President of R&D and Technology for the Americas at Kemira.

Michael Clark earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Chemistry from Emory University from 1990 to 1994. Michael then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Kennesaw State University from 2007 to 2009. In addition, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Organic Chemistry from the University of Houston, where they studied from 1994 to 1998.
