David Sparks currently serves as the Plant Manager at Kemira, overseeing a 24/7 shift system with a team of 10 multi-skilled operators and maintenance employees, while managing maintenance, production, safety, and training for a coagulants production plant since August 2012. Prior to this role, David worked as a Planning Manager at Sonae Industria, where responsibilities included day work and shutdown planning, along with managing condition monitoring and lubrication services from March 2010 to August 2012. In an earlier position as Maintenance Supervisor at Bridgewater Paper Company, David supervised a team of 15 in the pulping department, focusing on mechanical maintenance and improvement projects, from March 2008 to February 2010. David holds a City and Guilds qualification in Airframe Fitting from Kelsterton College, completed between 1977 and 1980.
