Chet Castator has over 35 years of experience in the production and crafting of edged tools and weapons, currently serving as a Production Supervisor at Kelly Box and Packaging since February 2022. As the Owner of Viable Option Outdoor Gear LLC since December 2020, Chet custom crafts handmade knives and tooling for outdoor and heavy-duty use. Chet is also a 1st Lieutenant Firefighter and Emergency Medical Responder at Waterloo-Grant Twp Fire Dept, active since August 2008, and previously held positions as Area Manager at Creative Liquid Coatings and Wet End Operator at International Paper. Chet's early experience began at Castator's Sharpening Service, working alongside family members, which laid the foundation for a lifelong career in tool-making. Chet graduated from Dekalb High School in 1992 with a focus on Vocational and Business English.
