Rishikesh Vanarse is a Computer Vision Engineer at KEF Robotics, specializing in GPS-denied visual navigation for autonomous UAVs since February 2023. Previously, Rishikesh served as a Perception Engineer II at IAM Robotics, focusing on SLAM and sensor fusion for autonomous warehouse robots. Experience includes a Research Associate role at Carnegie Mellon University Robotics Institute, where Rishikesh worked on robotic disassembly for e-waste recycling, and internships with Open Robotics and Google Summer of Code, concentrating on sensor fusion for autonomous vehicles. Rishikesh's academic background includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a thesis in Autonomous Robotics at the University of Nevada, Reno. Additionally, Rishikesh contributed to educational initiatives at BITS Goa, leading robotics courses and managing projects within the Electronics & Robotics Club.
