Sam Sohi, CFA has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Starting in 2004, Sam worked as a Software Developer at Infosys, developing software applications for Apple. Sam then worked as a Design Engineer at Huntley Nyce & Associates, focusing on site design and storm water management. In 2008, Sam had a summer internship as an Associate Treasury and Forex at Ranbaxy, performing technical and fundamental analyses. Sam then became an Equity Research Analyst at the College of William and Mary, undertaking buy side equity research and performing valuations. From 2009 to 2010, Sam worked as a Research Associate at the National Federation of Community Development Credit Unions, conducting data analysis and streamlining processes. Sam then joined Freddie Mac as a Financial Analyst, managing SOX requirements and financial reporting. From 2012 to 2016, Sam served as a Senior Financial Risk Analyst at LGFCU, focusing on financial planning and analysis. In 2016, Sam joined VyStar Credit Union as a Financial Risk Manager, overseeing various strategic initiatives. Sam then advanced to Vice President and eventually SVP, Financial Risk Management at VyStar, leading teams and managing the balance sheet. Since 2022, Sam has been an Advisory Board Member at Moody's Analytics, joining a cohort of industry executives to discuss challenges and opportunities in the financial sector. In 2023, Sam will assume the role of Chief Financial Officer at Keesler Federal Credit Union.

Sam Sohi, CFA holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from the William & Mary - Raymond A. Mason School of Business, which was obtained from 2007 to 2009. Sam also earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Production Engineering from Punjab Engineering College, completed from 2000 to 2004. Additionally, Sam has pursued further education, including a CUES CEO Institute program in Strategic Leadership at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, which is expected to be completed in 2022. Sam has also attended the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin - Madison for a Financial Managers School program in Banking and Financial Support Services starting in 2017. Furthermore, Sam Sohi is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certified by the CFA Institute.
