Karl Rand is an experienced ERISA attorney currently serving at Keenan since July 2022, specializing in employee benefits and ERISA litigation. With a career spanning several firms, Karl has held positions at Wolds VanderWal, Higgs Fletcher & Mack, McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP, Luce Forward Hamilton & Scripps LLP, Branton & Wilson, APC, and Merrill, Schultz & Wolds, Ltd. Throughout this extensive experience, Karl has focused on ERISA transactional work, providing expert guidance to employers, accountants, and plan administrators on employee benefit plans and executive compensation. Karl holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Taxation and a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of San Diego School of Law, as well as a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University.
