Arash Motamed has extensive work experience in the medical field. Arash currently serves as the Medical Director of Sustainability and the Medical Director of Keck Main OR at Keck Medicine of USC, starting in 2017 and 2020 respectively. Prior to this, they worked as the Medical Director of Keck Preoperative Clinic. Arash has also held various positions at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California, including Anesthesiology Vice Chair of Clinical Operations and Associate Professor of Clinical Anesthesiology. Arash started their career as an Anesthesiology Resident at Los Angeles County - University of Southern California (LAC-USC) and completed a Transitional Internship at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. Before entering the medical field, Arash worked as a Marketing Associate at California Credits Group, LLC (CCG), where they conducted research, calculated tax credits, and developed marketing materials. Arash also served as a Research Assistant at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles, where they worked on a retrospective study on hypertrophic scarring following cleft lip repair.
Arash Motamed received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Southern California in 2004. Arash then pursued their medical degree at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California, completing it in 2010. In the same year, they also obtained their MBA in Business Administration from the USC Marshall School of Business.
