Cesar Lapuerta has extensive work experience in the sales and account management field. Cesar started their career at the University of Maryland as a Network Assistant and later became a Research Assistant. In 2001, they worked as a Research Professor at ESPE - Escuela Politécnica del Ejército. Cesar then joined Siemens in 2004 as a Regional Sales Manager and later became the VP Account Management, responsible for business development and sales support. With an annual sales turnover of €60 million, they played a significant role in contract awarding with key customers within the Americas. In 2015, Cesar joined KEBA Gruppe as a Key Account Manager and was later promoted to Sales Director APAC, MENA, and LATAM. Cesar has been instrumental in driving sales growth and forging key partnerships in these regions.
Cesar Lapuerta holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Maryland, which they obtained between 1999 and 2001. Prior to that, they earned a degree in Telecommunications Engineering, specifically an Ingeniero Electronico degree, from the Universidad de las Fuerzas Armadas - ESPE, where they studied from 1989 to 1996. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained certifications as a Global Account Manager and Project Manager from Siemens in May 2012 and March 2010, respectively.
