Paul Baak serves as Principal Consultant and CEO at KBenP since January 2000, leading various initiatives within the organization, including KBenP advies en projecten, Analyze, GO Opleidingen, G-Workplace, Reekx, and Smartshore Ability. Since January 2021, Paul Baak has been the Initiator for Opdracht Overheid, focusing on the digital transformation of the Dutch government and enhancing services for government organizations and professionals. Additionally, Paul Baak holds roles as Duovoorzitter at the Koninklijke Nederlandse Vereniging van Informatieprofessionals since January 2017, and board member at FOBID Netherlands Library Forum since November 2018. Previous positions include serving on the supervisory board of Digitaal Erfgoed Nederland and as a member of the Advisory Council for Media, Information and Communication at Hogeschool van Amsterdam. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Social Sciences from the University of Amsterdam and a Master's degree in History from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
