Peter van Vught, CFA, serves as the Head of Finance & Planning and CFO at KBC Asset Management since November 2009, where responsibilities include overseeing a Dealing Desk of 12 dealers and managing an EUR 11 billion interest rate and currency-hedged investment portfolio. Peter van Vught develops investment and hedging strategies, enhances operational excellence through workflow simplification, and ensures compliance with regulations in collaboration with various internal departments. Additionally, Peter van Vught is a Director and Board Member of four public open-ended investment companies under Belgian law and has previously served as a Board Member for CFA Society Belgium. Educational qualifications include an MSc in International Management from King's College London, a BSc in Business Administration from Tilburg University, an exchange program at Prague University of Economics and Business, and completion of the CFA program.
