Natalia Czarnecka - de Vuyst is an experienced legal and compliance professional currently serving as Legal Counsel and Compliance Advisor at KBC Asset Management since May 2014. Previous roles include EU Public Affairs and Regulatory Consultant (Financial Services) at Hume Brophy and Afore Consulting from January 2012 to May 2014, and Policy Officer at the Polish Permanent Representation to the EU during the Presidency in the Council of the EU in 2011. Early career experiences include internships at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP, DLA Piper, and asb law in 2010 and 2008 respectively. Natalia Czarnecka - de Vuyst holds an LLM in International and European Law from Vrije Universiteit Brussel and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Nottingham, where also studies in Political Science were undertaken. Additionally, an extensive education in music was completed at Secondary Music Academy PSM II st. im.J. Elsnera in Warsaw and II Stefan Batory High School in Warsaw.
