Liesbeth Van Rompay is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as a Buy-side Financial Analyst at KBC Asset Management since March 2019. Previously, Liesbeth held the position of Risk Advisor at KBC Bank & Verzekering from September 2015 to March 2019. Liesbeth's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry and Biotechnology from KU Leuven, which was completed in 2014, and a Postgraduate degree in Corporate Finance obtained in 2018. Additionally, Liesbeth has experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher at KU Leuven between October 2010 and August 2015 and has completed teacher training in Natural Sciences at the same institution.
