Ryan Awerkamp is a seasoned corporate partner currently representing innovative companies and private equity and venture capital funds at Kunzler Bean & Adamson, PC since September 2020. Awerkamp holds a partner position at Vizion Capital, a micro private equity group focusing on blue-collar industries, and previously served as a corporate associate at Cooley LLP, where representation included major corporate and securities matters. Awerkamp's background includes providing legal counsel to startups in the virtual reality and agtech sectors while at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and experience as a summer associate at Cooley LLP, among other positions. Awerkamp also contributed to the founding and successful exit of an e-commerce startup, Let's Playground, and has a strong academic foundation with a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and a B.A. in Economics from Brigham Young University.
