Daniyar Aidar is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Senior Manager of Financial Reporting at Kazakhmys Corporation since September 2021. In this role, Daniyar focuses on the preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS, with particular attention to mining assets and disclosures while maintaining direct communication with external auditors. Previously, Daniyar held the position of Senior Associate at PwC Kazakhstan from September 2018 to August 2021, where responsibilities included digitalizing audit procedures and managing engagement teams for clients in the mining and retail sectors. Daniyar began the career as an Associate Teaching Assistant at KIMEP University and completed internships in finance, including roles at Amanat Insurance and Halyk Finance. Daniyar holds a Bachelor of Finance with a specialization in Corporate Finance from KIMEP University and has passed seven ACCA papers.
