Assel Badina has diverse work experience across multiple industries. Assel started their career as a Sales Consultant at OO "Sportmaster" in 2011. Assel then worked as a Specialist of Foreign Economic Relations at the Karaganda Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry from 2011 to 2013. Assel went on to become a Brand Manager at TOO "Lek" from 2013 to 2015. Assel then worked as a Human Resources Development Specialist at ArcelorMittal from 2015 to 2016. Assel later became an Executive Managing Director at CreativeFood from 2016 to 2018. Assel then joined Kazakhmys Corporation, where they held roles including Chief Specialist of Strategic Human Resource Management from 2018 to 2021, and currently serves as the Head of the Training Development Department and Personnel Reserve. Additionally, they had a brief role as a Mentor-Trainee at the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan jointly with the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development in 2017.

Assel Badina's education history is as follows:

Assel Badina obtained a Professional Trainer Certificate in Psiholog-Trener (Psychological Training) from the NANO "Institut Professional'nogo Obrazovaniya" in 2022.

In 2020, Assel Badina pursued a qualification in HR Management, specifically in the field of HR Management and completed the course "Director of Personnel" at City Business School.

In 2017, Assel Badina pursued a qualification in Higher Management at The Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA).

Assel Badina earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Strategic Management from Moscow Business School in 2014.

Assel Badina also earned a Master's degree in Law, specializing in Jurisprudence and General Law, from Karaganda State University named after E. A. Buketov in 2014.

Furthermore, in 2012, Assel Badina obtained a Bachelor's degree in Law, with a focus on International Law and Legal Studies, from Karaganda State University named after E. A. Buketov.

- A certification in Managing Talent, obtained from the University of Michigan in 2020.
