Siddharth Sahani has had a varied and successful career in the field of Machine Learning and Data Science. Siddharth started their career in 2013 as a Core Team Member and Autonomous Robot Programmer at SRM TEAM ROBOCON, where they worked on a legacy code and optimized the hardware and software electronics of the 3 wheel pick and place robot. In 2015, they joined Indian Institute of Technology, Madras as an Undergraduate Research Fellow and Zaya Learning Labs as a Machine Learning Researcher. At Zaya Learning Labs, they worked on Markov models for random text generation, a back-propagation Neural Network for Upper and Lowercase alphabet recognizer, and an algorithm to determine a set of litmus questions. In 2016, they joined InFoCusp as a Machine Learning Engineer, where they worked on ContractSifter, a distributed web-application to extract information from legal documents. Siddharth then joined Shipmnts in 2017 as an ML Lead & Project Manager, Senior Data Scientist & MLE, and Data Scientist. In these roles, they built an end-to-end solution using custom YOLOv3 inspired architecture for object detection and localization, delivered an end to end product feature on document classification, worked on Property Condition assessment from Image Perspective, lead the team for creating an internal ML framework for automating rudimentary ML/DL tasks, and lead the Computer Vision team for the product to solve Document Processing problem statements. Most recently, they joined Kayzen in 2021 as a Machine Learning Engineer II.

Siddharth Sahani has a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science and Engineering from SRM University, which they obtained between 2012 and 2016. Siddharth also obtained a 12th (Sr. Secondary) in Science from Omkarananda Sarawati Nilayam, Rishikesh between 2011 and 2012, as well as a 10th (Secondary) from the same institution between 2009 and 2010. In addition, they obtained a certification in Introduction to Cloud Computing from edX in May 2015, with a score of 100%.
