Roberto Ibañez Atkinson has held a variety of roles over the past 15 years. In 2005, they co-founded Touch Latam and in 2007 they were a board member for Marsol. In 2010, they co-founded both STARS Investment Management Co. and El Taringa. In 2012, they founded Fundación Celebraciones con Sentido. In 2015, they authored the non-profit, self-help book "Mierda Tengo Cáncer, Qué Hago?", which became a best-seller. In 2019, they co-founded Instance Latam and held roles as co-founder and co-founder of financing strategy. In 2020, they co-founded TouchTaskLatam, Kayyak Ventures, and became a board member for YPO Chile.

Roberto Ibañez Atkinson attended the Facultad de Ingeniería y Ciencias de la Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez from 2002 to 2006, where they earned an Ingeniero Comercial and Master in Marketing. Roberto also attended the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. In 2017, they received an Executive MBA from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder.
