Tomas Obrtac is a General Partner at KAYA VC since March 2021, with a focus on early-stage investments in Europe. Prior to this role, Tomas served as Principal and Associate at Enern from October 2013 to March 2021. Earlier experience includes positions as an Analyst at Barclays Capital, where Tomas worked in both the IBD Healthcare and Investment Banking divisions, and as an M&A Analyst at Rothschild, specializing in industrials and emerging markets in Central and Eastern Europe. Additional roles include M&A Analyst at Flying Buttress Partners and internships at Deutsche Bank and Dresdner Kleinwort. Tomas holds a Master in European Business from ESCP Business School and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Queen Mary University of London.
