Andrew S. Taubman is a principal at Kaufman Rossin. Andy is charged with the development of the firm’s client base and is a market leader in the firm’s real estate sector services. He has a unique combination of technical accounting and tax acumen coupled with a strong understanding of how businesses work. These skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with clients and third parties, have proven to be a successful formula for clients.
Andy provides ongoing financial and tax consulting to the firm’s small to middle market clients. He is certified as a State of Florida Sales & Use Tax Auditor assisting clients with sales and use tax compliance requirements and sales and use tax audits. He is on the list of IRS Acceptance Agents for Passport Certifications. In addition, he lectures in coordination with national investment brokerage firms and banks on income tax matters pertaining to retirement programs, succession planning for business owners, business combinations, and the management of a professional service firm.
Andy has been actively involved in numerous community projects and community development endeavors throughout his career. Currently, he is a member of the Executives’ Association of Fort Lauderdale. He served as a committee chair for Jewish Community Foundation PAC, and is an active member of the United Way of Broward County Tocqueville Society Steering Committee, Board Member of the Friends of Hugh Taylor Birch State Park, and Committee Member of the Broward Business Council on Homelessness.
