Angella H. Myers

Managing Partner, Dallas & New Orleans Offices at Kaufman Dolowich & Voluck

Angella H. Myers focuses her practice on labor and employment law utilizing years of litigation experience.

From complex business litigation, to providing defense at the administrative level in investigations before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Texas Workforce Commission (TWC), Department of Labor (DOL) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Ms. Myers advocates for amicable resolution whenever it proves to be the best option. When necessary, she aggressively and successfully litigates matters in both state and federal court.

Ms. Myers’ litigation practice includes employment discrimination and harassment cases, restrictive covenant disputes, retaliation matters, and wage and hour matters-both individual and class actions.

Ms. Myers has extensive experience representing directors and officers, separately and in conjunction with representing their company in employment matters. In addition, she represents both large and small businesses in general and civil litigation. She counsels clients and handles litigation on their behalf in matters of workforce reductions/termination in employment, ensuring best practices to avoid claims for Title VII, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), and the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA). Ms. Myers also drafts and implements employer policies and provides counsel in investigations of embezzlement, harassment/retaliation, and other critical employment matters.

She leads her approach with passion and care, to represent clients with sensitive employment issues, and counsels clients on steps to avoid problems before they turn into more significant issues.

The Myers Law Group joined with Kaufman Dolowich, & Voluck, LLP in April 2022, to expand service to clients in employment matters, commercial litigation, and professional liability. Ms. Myers established TMLG in 2010 and, as a firm owner since 2006, she has always kept her firm focused on ensuring businesses received the attention they deserve from experienced litigators, with impressive results. Earlier in her career, Ms. Myers practiced in Lafayette, Louisiana working to assist clients with employment litigation work and her years of practice have included working on a variety of litigation including large loss casualty cases and cases involving claims of excessive force/police brutality in the defense of municipalities in civil rights, excessive force, and wrongful death claims.
