Maya Horgan Famodu is a prominent venture capital leader and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the African tech ecosystem. As a Kauffman Fellow since July 2021, Maya is part of a prestigious program focused on leadership in venture capital. As the Partner and Founder of Ingressive Capital, Maya oversees significant investment funds aimed at early-stage, tech-enabled companies in Sub-Saharan Africa. Additionally, Maya co-founded Ingressive For Good, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing micro-scholarships and skills development for African youth. Recognized in Forbes' 30 Under 30 lists for both Venture Capital in the US and Technology in Africa, Maya has played a vital role in initiatives such as the High Growth Africa Summit and has a strong background in research and media, having contributed to The Huffington Post and conducted sociological research in Madagascar.
