Rivers Jones is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in healthcare and military research settings. Currently serving as a Senior Finance Manager at Katmai Government Services since September 2023, Rivers supports the US Military HIV Research Program at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research. Previously, Rivers held the same role at Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies from June 2022 to September 2023. Earlier experience includes a position as a Senior Health Care Consultant at TransformCare, Inc., where responsibilities involved business process engineering for the Veterans Health Administration, and a Senior Program Manager role at The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine, which focused on optimizing partner performance across several African countries. Additional experience includes coordinating PEPFAR-funded research and community health initiatives. Rivers holds a Master's degree in Health Care Administration from Seton Hall University and a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition, Food, and Exercise from Virginia Tech.
