Sharon Whelan is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in medical technology and patient advocacy. Currently serving as a Medical Technologist at KSB Hospital since January 2018, Whelan previously spent over four decades at SwedishAmerican Health System, where responsibilities included the role of Director of Patient Advocacy & Holistic Health Services until December 2016. Whelan’s academic credentials include a Master of Science in Health Care Administration/Management from the University of St. Francis and a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science from Illinois State University.
