Since co-founding Kateeva in 2008, Gerry has helped drive growth for the company — from startup to a leading provider of equipment solutions used by global display manufacturers.
Today, he oversees Kateeva’s business in China, working closely with customers to help them harness the benefits of inkjet printing systems for existing and emerging display applications. In addition, he played a key role in fundraising, helping Kateeva secure capital through investment and business transactions in China.
Previously, Gerry was VP of Strategic Development and before that, VP of Technology. With collaborative teams in Silicon Valley and China, he helped Kateeva shape and keep pace with its product roadmap by guiding development of the company’s inkjet process for printing organic and nanostructured materials. In parallel, he implemented a customer-engagement model in China that established Kateeva as a key vendor to the region’s display leaders.
Gerry holds a Ph.D. from MIT, and dual BSc degrees from Tsinghua University in China. He earned a certificate in Financial Technology from the Sloan School of Management and holds patents covering display devices, processes and equipment.
