Korey Gearhart has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Currently, they are the Vice President at Katecho, LLC, a position they have held since January 2018. In this role, they report to the CEO and President and is responsible for overseeing multiple functions including Engineering, Sales and Marketing, Quality, Human Resources, and IT. In this role, they managed business and technical projects for the Life and Disability Division, ensuring that all projects were delivered within 10% of baselined scope, schedule, and budget, following the PMBOK methodology.
Korey's career began at Goodrich, where they worked as a Project Engineer from February 2000 to September 2003. In this role, they were responsible for design engineering and production support for various product lines, including those of Rolls-Royce Aerospace, GE Aviation, and Volvo Aero. Korey'sresponsibilities included new technical proposal write-ups, product layouts, design calculations, test plans/reports, and product overhaul specifications. Korey also performed experimental testing to validate new product concepts.

Korey Gearhart has a diverse education history. They began their education at BCLUW High School, where they obtained their High School Diploma. They then attended Marshalltown Community College, where they earned an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and an Associate of Applied Science degree in Drafting and Design Technology.
After completing their associate's degrees, Korey enrolled at Rochester Institute of Technology, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering. They later continued their education at the same institution and completed Master of Science coursework in Production & Operations Management.
Furthermore, Korey attended the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management, where they undertook an Executive Management Education program called Leadership by Andersen.
In terms of certifications, Korey has obtained The Recreational UAS Safety Test (TRUST) certificate from the Federal Aviation Administration in January 2023. They also completed the PMP® Certification Training Course offered by the Project Management Institute in November 2003.
