Gordana Bazina is an accomplished Validation Engineer with extensive experience in the automotive and transportation sectors. Presently at Katcon since October 2018, Gordana oversees validation processes and product assessments. Previously at Tenneco from March 2012 to September 2018, Gordana served as a DFMEA facilitator and Product Validation Engineer, focusing on product functions, design weaknesses, and effective testing management. Prior roles include Lead Engineer at GE Transportation, where responsibilities encompassed design and reliability projects in the Locomotive Platform, and positions at GM Defense, New Flyer Industries, and others, emphasizing mechanical design and process improvement. Gordana holds a Master’s degree in Project Management from Penn State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mechanical Engineering in Sarajevo.
