Valerie Ponseti is a seasoned multimedia journalist currently working at KATC Communications since July 2014, where responsibilities include research, conducting interviews, shooting video, on-air presentation, writing, editing packages, and managing social media. Prior to this role, Valerie served as Head Instructor and Instructor at the Universal Dance Association from June 2010 to July 2014, teaching dance to high school and junior high students nationwide. Additionally, Valerie gained valuable experience as a Student Reporter, Producer, and Editor at the Southeastern Channel from August 2012 to May 2014, focusing on writing, editing, shooting video, and on-air talent. Valerie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Electronic Media from Southeastern Louisiana University (2010-2014) and graduated from Ponchatoula High School in 2010.
