Krister Vals has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Krister started their career at Playtech in 2004, where they led the Finance Application Team and later became a Senior Data Migration Manager, working closely with project managers and communicating with customers worldwide. In 2011, they joined Ekspress Hotline AS, now known as FCR Media, as an IT Director, responsible for driving IT solutions in Estonia and expanding the IT team globally. Krister then moved on to FCR Tech as the Managing Director, leading a team responsible for providing technical solutions to FCR Media Group businesses across multiple countries. In 2014, they joined Skillific OÜ as a Developer, working on the core application using frameworks like AngularJS, NodeJS, and PHP. Krister later joined Inbank AS as a Software Developer before finally joining Katana Manufacturing ERP in 2017, where they are part of a small development team working on production and inventory management using React, NodeJS, and PostgreSQL.

Krister Vals attended Hugo Treffneri Gümnaasium from 1998 to 2000, where they completed their high school education.
