We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Lead to join our Northeast Portfolio team. As Housekeeping Lead, you will have end-to-end ownership over the on-the-ground operations for the The Skowhegan Hotel/Spinning Mill Apartments. In this role, As the Housekeeping Lead, you'll be responsible for inspecting and maintaining the cleanliness and physical condition of the hotel guest rooms, meeting rooms, hallways, and the overall building's public areas. You'll maintain a positive and friendly attitude with all guests and other employees to act as the communicator and liaison between guests and other team members. You should have a proven track record of delivering exceptional housekeeping services to ensure a safe and pristine environment, contributing to an outstanding guest experience.
This role is in our Portfolio Operations department. Our mission is to ensure our guests have a seamless in-unit experience. Our team members are located all over the country, have diverse backgrounds, and come from many different industries. Like many operations roles, there is no ātypical day.' Your role will involve a wide range of activities tending to the hotel operation. As the Housekeeping Lead, your primary responsibility is to oversee the hotel's housekeeping operations. This involves cleaning units, managing supplies and leading the performance of the overall Housekeeping operations. Working closely with the hotel leadership team, you will oversee or directly execute our cleaning operations. Your role includes maintaining relationships with colleagues, guests, and relevant vendors (in person and virtually.)
Beyond the day-to-day operations, you will be the go-to person for training our housekeepers on Kasa cleaning standards. It's important to note that this role is not only about standards but also involves hands-on work. You are expected to engage in cleaning stayovers throughout the day and will have your own cleaning list.
A typical schedule for this role is based on business needs in your market, sometimes including nights and weekends and holidays, as we are in the hospitality industry. While you are not 'on-call 24/7' for this job, during emergencies, you will get a call and if you're available, we compensate above state requirements to a minimum of 2 hours Overtime, on defined days off or after working hours.
